Obiettivi

L’obiettivo del corso Elettivo è di fornire agli studenti l’opportunità di approfondire le proprie conoscenze sul trapianto di fegato, dalla gestione preoperatoria, all'anestesia e all'allocazione degli organi; fino agli aspetti tecnici del trapianto di fegato, immunosoppressione e rigetto.

Essere iscritti al IV anno e oltre del CdS in Medicina e Chirurgia

Gli insegnamenti verranno erogati in modalità “in presenza”, salvo successive diverse disposizioni ministeriali (es. emergenza pandemica)

Aims

The aim of the Elective course is to provide students with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on liver transplantation, from preoperative management, to anesthesia and organ allocation; up to the technical aspects of liver transplantation, immunosuppression and rejection.

  • Early Post Transplant Complications + Interactive Clinical case discussions

  • referral to liver transplantation

  • surgical procedures in liver transplantation

Prerequisites

To be enrolled in the 4th year and over of the Master Course in Medicine and Surgery

Teaching form

Frontal lectures
interactive clinical case discussions
open discussion on liver transplantation

Lessons will be provided in presence, subject to any ministerial changes following the COVID pandemic situation
