Sapere riconoscere la sintomatologia clinica, l'approccio diagnostico e terapeutico dei principali quadri clinici del paziente internistico

Discussione di casi clinici relativi a pazienti affetti da sindromi endocrino-metaboliche, patologie cardiovascolari, neoplastiche, gastrointestinali, infettivi e neurologiche anche in pazienti comorbidi con approfondimento della parte teorica e la gestione della comorbidità

Gestione dal punto di vista internistico del paziente affetto da:
-Patologia cardiovscolare di interesse internistico con particolare focus su scompenso cardiaco
-Patologia infettiva con particolare focus su : la sepsi, l’endocardite, la meningite, la polmonite, la pielonefrite.
-Febbre di natura da determinare con focus sulle principali patologie reumatiche e sulle complicanze dei pazienti immunodepressi

Conoscenze relative alle patologie medico chirurgiche e principi di farmacologia

Lezioni frontali organizzate con esposizione di un caso clinico interattivo seguito da esposizione dei fondamentali aspetti clinico sintomatologici, diagnsi differenziale e terapia delle problematiche di interesse.
Integrazione con le Linee Guida Internazionali e pubblicazioni inerenti di elevato impatto scientifico che verranno forniti agli studenti per poter proseguire in autonomia l'approfondimento di quanto trattato a lezione.
E' previsto l'utilizzo dell'aplicazione wooclap per favorire l'interazione tra docente e studenti
Una parte del monteore verrà svolto in compresenza con docenti di altre aree specialistiche al fine di favorire la discussione multidisciplinare

To be able to recognise the clinical symptomatology, diagnostic and therapeutic approach of the main clinical pictures of internal medicine patients

Principles of antinfective therapy in major clinical infectious syndromes. Fever of unknown origin: point of view of ID specialist.

Discussion of clinical cases of patients suffering from endocrine-metabolic syndromes, cardiovascular, neoplastic, gastrointestinal, infectious and neurological diseases also in comorbid patients with in-depth discussion of the theoretical part and the management of comorbidity

Internal management of patients suffering from:

  • Cardiovascular pathology of internal medicine interest with particular focus on heart failure
    -Infectious pathology with particular focus on: sepsis, endocarditis, meningitis, pneumonia, pyelonephritis.
    -Fever nature to be determined with focus on the main rheumatic pathologies and complications of immunosuppressed patients

Knowledge of themedical surgical pathologies and principles of pharmacology

Lectures organised with the presentation of an interactive clinical case followed by an exposition of the fundamental clinical symptomatological aspects, differential diagnosis and therapy of the problems of interest.
Integration with the International Guidelines and relevant publications of high scientific impact that will be provided to the students in order to be able to autonomously continue the in-depth study of what was covered in class.
The use of the wooclap application is foreseen to facilitate interaction between lecturer and students.
Part of the hours will be spent with lecturers from other specialist areas in order to encourage multidisciplinary discussion.

Currently limited to the interaction with the students during the lecture, through questions related to key points of the topics covered. To verify the possibility of sending a short questionnaire by e-mail in a time strictly following the frontal lesson.
