Entro la fine del corso, lo studente sarà in grado di:

• Descrivere il quadro clinico e il decorso naturale delle principali malattie infettive e sindromi infettive affrontate durante il corso.

• Descrivere le misure terapeutiche e preventive per le malattie infettive e sindromi infettive affrontate durante il corso

• Conoscere i fondamenti della chemioterapia antimicrobica delle più importanti malattie infettive

  • valutare l'efficacia dei trattamenti antinfettivi evidenziando come a parità di malattia, possano presentarsi effetti diversi negli uomini e nelle donne

Aspetti clinici, diagnosi, prevenzione e trattamenteo delle principali malattie infettive.

  • Endocarditi: un approccio mutisciplinare
  • Febbre di Origine Sconosciuta
  • Infezioni dell’ospite compromesso
  • Infezioni fungine Invasive
  • Principi di trattamento delle infezioni da microrganismi MDR

By the end of the course, the student will be able to:

· Describe the clinical picture and the natural course of the infectious diseases and infective syndromes treated during the course

· Describe the therapeutic and preventive of the infectious diseases and infective syndromes treated during the course

· Know the fundamentals of antimicrobial chemotherapy of the most important infectious diseases

  • assessing the effectiveness of anti-infective treatments by showing how, for the same disease, different effects may occur in men and women

Clinical aspects, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the main infectious diseases.

  • Endocarditis: a mutisciplinary approach
  • Fever of Unknown Origin
  • Infections in the Immunocompromised Host
  • Invasive fungal infections
  • Principles of treatment of infections by MDR microorganisms

Knowledge of the introductory courses indicated in the degree course regulations

Lectures with the use of audiovisual aids and classroom discussion with students; clinical cases
