Obiettivi formativi
Conoscenza e comprensione
Maturare competenze nell’area turismo sostenibile secondo una prospettiva interdisciplinare capace di tenere conto delle priorità dello sviluppo locale.
Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
Saper utilizzare le teorie e i metodi della ricerca sociale per descrivere e comprendere il ruolo del turismo sostenibile nelle trasformazioni socio-culturali, territoriali in atto nelle società contemporanee.
Contenuti sintetici
Il corso affronta le principali problematiche relative al ruolo del turismo per raggiungere gli obiettivi dello sviluppo sostenibile. Il corso mira a far sviluppare competenze e tecniche per definire politiche e pratiche di turismo sostenibile. Un particolare attenzione è rivolta agli ecomusei ed al turismo enogastronomico come forme di turismo sostenibile.
Programma esteso
Il corso è organizzato in 2 parti tra loro fortemente interconnesse.
La prima è un introduzione al Turismo Sostenibile e mira a metterne in luce le principali caratteristiche: chiarendone strategie, strumenti operativi ed evidenziando le connessioni con lo sviluppo locale.
La seconda parte riguarda il turismo enogastronomico e mira a sottolineare quando quest'ultimo incontra gli obiettivi della sostenibilità.

Metodi didattici
Le lezioni saranno in presenza e forniranno indicazioni relative a questioni teoriche e pratiche. Saranno organizzati seminari di approfondimento con esperti.
Nello specifico sono previste:
- 18 lezioni da 2 ore svolte in modalità erogativa in presenza;
- 8 attività seminariali con esperti da 2 ore svolte in modalità interattiva in presenza;
- 2 esercitazioni da 2 ore volte a verificare l'apprendimento dei concetti proposti durante il corso. Le esercitazione saranno in presenza con il supporto di un tutor.
Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
Esame scritto con domande a risposta aperta volte a verificare la conoscenza dei concetti fondamentali del turismo sostenibile e del turismo enogastronomico oggetto del corso.
Gli studenti possono svolgere due prove intermedia relativa alle due parti del corso che prevede domande a risposta aperta.
I criteri di valutazione terranno conto delle conoscenze dei contenuti; delle Abilità (proprietà di linguaggio e capacità di sintesi) e delle Competenze nell'utilizzo delle conoscenze (capacità di applicare i concetti teorici a casi empirici). l'orale è a scelta

Developing skills in the field of sustainable tourism in an interdisciplinary perspective that can take account of local development priorities.
Applying knowledge and understanding
Learning how to use theories and methods of social science to analyze the role of sustainable tourism in contemporary societies.
Contents
The course deals with the main issues related to the role of tourism in achieving sustainability goals.
The course aims to develop competences and techniques in the field of sustainable tourism policies and practices. Particular attention is given to the Ecomuyseums and Gastronomic Tourism.
Detailed program
The course is organized in two main parts.
The first one aims to highlight the main features of sustainable Tourism: i.e. strategies and operational tools. Moreover, it shows the interconnections with local development processes.
The second part is about food tourism and emphasizes the reasons why the food tourism can be considered sustainable tourism.
Teaching methods
The lessons will be in person and will provide information relating to theoretical and practical issues. In-depth seminars with experts will be organized.
Specifically, the class will be organized as it follows:
- 18 lessons of 2-hours in presence mode;
- 8 seminars of 2-hours with experts carried out in interactive mode in person;
- 2 in class reviews (of two hours) for each class module. The reviews will be in person with the support of a tutor.
Assessment methods
Written examination with open questions answered to evaluate the knowledge of sustainable tourism and food tourism fundamental concepts. Students have the opportunity to take two intermediate tests with open questions.
The evaluation criteria will take into account the knowledge of the contents; Skills (properties of language and synthesis capacities) and skills in the use of concepts (ability to apply theoretical concepts to empirical cases).
