The course has three-fold aims:

• to provide doctoral students with the fundamental concepts and methods necessary to conduct a scholarly literature review (SLR);
• to train doctoral students to assess the rigor of a SLR;
• to train doctoral students to select the appropriate SLR for a defined research question and draft a review protocol.
