Obiettivi

Fornire gli strumenti per condurre una adeguata anamnesi, riconoscere i segni e sintomi, effettuare una diagnosi differenziale, scegliere le metodiche diagnostiche appropriate, elaborare principi di terapia delle principale emergenze in ambito infettivologico.

Contenuti sintetici

Diagnosi differenziale, diagnostica e accenni di terapia, diagnostica e accenni di terapia per le sindromi infettive con caratteristiche di urgenza.

Programma esteso

Trattazione delle principali emergenze di carattere infettivologico, in particolare:

  • sepsi e shock settico
  • meningo-encefaliti
  • fascite necrotizzante
  • endocarditi

Prerequisiti

Per studenti dal 4 anno di corso.

Modalità didattica

Casi clinici, discussione in gruppi, lezione frontale.

Aims

Provide the tools to conduct an adequate anamnesis, recognise signs and symptoms, make a differential diagnosis, choose appropriate diagnostic methods, and elaborate principles of treatment of major infectious emergencies.

Contents

Diagnosis, management and treatment and treatment of the different infectious diseases emergency syndromes.

Detailed program

Treatment of major infectious emergencies, in particular

  • sepsis and septic shock
  • meningo-encephalitis
  • necrotising fasciitis
  • endocarditis

Prerequisites

From 4th year of Medical School.

Teaching form

Case reports, workshop, lecture.
