Course Syllabus
Obiettivi
Comprensione delle caratteristiche cliniche, dell’approccio diagnostico e del trattamento delle principali patologie neurologiche (malattie cerebrovascolari, epilessia, meningoencefalite, sclerosi laterale amiotrofica, neuropatie e patologie midollari non chirurgiche).
Approccio a tre tecniche diagnostiche fondamentali in neurologia (ecografia cerebrovascolare, elettroencefalografia, elettromiografia).

Aims
Overview of the clinical manifestations, diagnostic strategies, and therapeutic management of major neurological disorders — including cerebrovascular diseases, epilepsy, meningoencephalitis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, peripheral neuropathies, and non-surgical spinal cord pathologies.
Introduction to three essential diagnostic techniques in Neurology: cerebrovascular ultrasound, electroencephalography, and electromyography.

Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, as well as familiarity with the methods and principles of the neurological clinical examination.
