Obiettivi
Gli obiettivi dell’internato sono:

Comprendere le attività cliniche svolte nell’ambito della Medicina del Lavoro, con particolare riferimento alla sorveglianza sanitaria, alla prevenzione dei rischi professionali e alla diagnosi delle malattie lavoro-correlate (DdD1)

Applicare le conoscenze teoriche acquisite per interpretare casi clinici osservati durante l’attività in reparto e collegarli ai contesti lavorativi di esposizione (DdD2)
-
Acquisire consapevolezza del ruolo del medico del lavoro all’interno del sistema di prevenzione e della sua interazione con le altre figure sanitarie e aziendali (DdD1)
Contenuti sintetici
Lo studente affiancherà un medico (tutor) del reparto di medicina del lavoro nelle seguenti attività:

Servizio Sanitario Aziendale
-
Sorveglianza sanitaria (visita medica + test diagnostici) per lavoratori esposti a rischi professionali
-
Diagnosi e gestione delle malattie professionali
-
Gestione delle malattie infettive nei lavoratori
Programma esteso
Lo studente verrà coinvolto nell'attività del Servizio Sanitario Aziendale, affiancando un medico (tutor) del reparto di medicina del lavoro. Lo studente affiancherà un medico del lavoro nell'effettuazione delle visite mediche e degli accertamenti diagnostici necessari previsti dai protocolli di sorveglianza sanitaria per i lavoratori esposti a rischi professionali. Lo studente verrà coinvolto nell'attività di secondo livello, comprensiva della diagnosi e della gestione delle malattie professionali. Infine, parteciperà alle attività di gestione delle malattie infettive negli operatori sanitari.
Durante il periodo di internato, lo studente parteciperà a tutte le diverse attività del reparto di medicina del lavoro.
Prerequisiti
E' consigliato che lo studente abbia già superato l'esame di Medicina del Lavoro.
Modalità didattica
Lo studente affiancherà un medico (tutor) del reparto di medicina del lavoro durante tutte le attività quotidiane.

Aims
The objectives of the internship are:

To understand the clinical activities carried out in the field of Occupational Medicine, with particular focus on health surveillance, prevention of occupational risks, and diagnosis of work-related diseases (DdD1)

To apply theoretical knowledge in interpreting clinical cases observed during the internship and relating them to specific occupational exposure contexts (DdD2)
-
To develop awareness of the role of the occupational physician within the prevention system and of their interaction with other healthcare and workplace professionals (DdD1)
Contents
The student will support an occupational physician (tutor) during the following activities:

Company Health Service
-
Medical surveillance (medical examination + diagnostic tests) for workers exposed to occupational risks
-
Diagnosis and management of occupational diseases
-
Management of infectious diseases among workers
Detailed program
The student will be involved in the activity of the Company Health Service, supporting a doctor (tutor) from the occupational medicine department. The student will work alongside an occupational doctor in carrying out the medical examinations and necessary diagnostic tests required by the health surveillance protocols for workers exposed to occupational risks. The student will be involved in the second level activity, including the diagnosis and management of occupational diseases. Finally, the student will participate in the management of infectious diseases in healthcare professionals.
During the internship period, the student will participate in all the different activities of the occupational health department.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that the student has already passed the Occupational Medicine examination.
Teaching form
