Obiettivi

Alla fine dell’internato lo studente avrà acquisito le seguenti capacità
Impostare l’esecuzione di una consulenza infettivologica in un ospedale di terzo livello
Impostare nella pratica un programma di stewardship antimicrobica nell’ospedale
Impostare la gestione dei pazienti ricoverati in degenza ordinaria in malattie infettive
Porre indicazione e Gestire l’isolamento in ospedale di persone potenzialmente infettive
Impostare una visita di follow up od una prima visita in pazienti con infezioni croniche ( HIV epatiti virali) o malattia di lyme

Prendere parte con tutorship 1:1 alle attività della Sc Malattie Infettive dell ASST GOM Niguarda

Programma esteso

• Partecipazione con tutor (con rapporto 1:1) all’attività di consulenza infettivologica quotidiana con particolare attenzione alle consulenze richieste per
o Pazienti trapiantati,
o Pazienti ematologici,
o Pazienti ricoverati in terapia intensiva
o Pazienti ricoverati in particolari unità chirurgiche ( Neurochirurgia, Chirurgia Plastica, Trauma Team)
• Partecipazione alle attività quotidiane della struttura complessa (briefing, journal club)
• Partecipazione ad audit ed incontri del programma di Antimicrobial Stewardship
• Partecipazione al briefing quotidiano della Sc in cui vengono discussi i piani diagnsotici e terapeutici dei pazienti ricoverati
• Partecipazione con tutor (1:1) all’attività ambulatoriale in pazienti con infezioni croniche (HIV ed Epatite) e con malattia di Lyme

Prerequisiti

Come nel Corso in Malattie Infettive conoscenze nei corsi indicati nei regolamenti e frequenza nel Corso di Malattie Infettive

Aims

At the end of the internship the student will have developed the following skills
Approach the activity of infectious diseases consultation in a referral general hospital
Approach in clinical practice program of antimicrobial stewardship
Approach the management of inpatiuents hospitalized in an Infectious Disease Department
Give the indications and manage isolation of potentially infective patients in Hospital
Approach to outpatient consultation for chronic infection (HIV Hepatitis Viruses) and Lyme disease

Contents

Take part with one tutor (1:!) to the activities of the Infectious Diseases Unit in Niguarda Great Metropolitan hospital

Detailed program

• Participation with a tutor to daily consultation activity in Niguarda Hospital with specific focus on consultation in
o transplanted patients,
o haematological patients,
o patients hospitalized in intensive care units
o patients hospitalized in special surgical units (Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, TraumaTeam)
• Participation with one or more tutors to the activities of the antimicrobial stewardship program (meetings and audits) and of the group for the control of hospital infections
• Participation with the ward group to daily briefings where is discussed the diagnostic and therapeutic plan of each hospitalized person
• Participation with one tutor (1:1) to outpatients visits in clinics for chronic infections ( HIV and viral hepatitis) and for Lyme disease

Prerequisites

As in the course on Infectious Diseases knowledge of the introductory courses indicated in the degree course regulations and frequency in the Infectious Diseases Course
