Obiettivi

  1. Conoscenze e capacità di comprensione (Knowledge and Understanding)
    Lo studente:

Comprende i fondamenti clinici, farmacologici e normativi relativi alla terapia endovenosa, con particolare attenzione all’utilizzo e alla gestione del catetere venoso centrale (CVC).

Conosce il quadro normativo, fiscale, deontologico e assicurativo che regolamenta l’attività libero-professionale dell’infermiere.

  1. Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione (Applying Knowledge and Understanding)
    Lo studente è in grado di:

Applicare protocolli assistenziali e procedure operative per la somministrazione sicura della terapia EV e tramite CVC.

Tradurre le conoscenze giuridiche e organizzative in azioni concrete per la gestione della libera professione infermieristica.

  1. Autonomia di giudizio (Making Judgements)
    Lo studente sviluppa, attraverso simulazioni e discussioni guidate, la capacità di:

Valutare in modo critico la qualità e la sicurezza della terapia farmacologica, riconoscendo tempestivamente segni di rischio clinico legati alla gestione del CVC.

Analizzare in maniera riflessiva le implicazioni etiche e professionali connesse alle scelte operate nell’ambito della libera professione.

  1. Abilità comunicative (Communication Skills)
    Lo studente, mediante attività interattive e simulazioni contestualizzate, è in grado di:

Comunicare efficacemente con i membri dell’équipe riguardo alla gestione del paziente in terapia EV o con CVC, utilizzando un linguaggio tecnico appropriato.

Esporre e discutere i principi organizzativi e professionali della libera professione in contesti formativi di confronto (es. role-playing, lavori di gruppo).

  1. Capacità di apprendere (Learning Skills)
    Lo studente, attraverso la rielaborazione di casi clinici e discussioni strutturate, sviluppa la capacità di:

Riflettere in modo autonomo su situazioni cliniche complesse, approfondendo criticamente le competenze tecniche e professionali necessarie.

Aggiornarsi in modo proattivo su normative, responsabilità e opportunità della libera professione, costruendo una visione evolutiva del proprio ruolo.

Contenuti sintetici

Il corso si prefigge di far approfondire agli studenti alcune competenze legate al percorso formativo del II anno e alcuni elementi conoscitivi relativi a tematiche d’attualità inerenti la professione infermieristica.

Programma esteso

Durante il corso verranno approfondite le seguenti tematiche:
• La gestione e il monitoraggio della terapia farmacologica endovenosa, da CVC;
• L'attività libero professionale dell’infermiere

Prerequisiti

Definiti dal regolamento del Corso di Laurea.

Modalità didattica

La modalità didattica si sviluppa raggiungendo 1 CFU per un totale di 12 ore, così suddivise:
• 5 lezioni da 2 ore frontali svolte in modalità erogativa in presenza;
• 1 lezione da 2 ore di attività di laboratorio e esercitazioni, svolte in modalità interattiva in presenza;

Aims

  1. Knowledge and Understanding
    The student:

Understands the clinical, pharmacological, and regulatory principles related to intravenous therapy, with specific attention to the use and management of Central Venous Catheters (CVC).

Acquires knowledge about the legal, ethical, fiscal, and insurance frameworks that govern freelance nursing practice, in line with national and European standards.

  1. Applying Knowledge and Understanding
    The student is able to:

Apply clinical protocols and technical procedures to ensure the safe administration of intravenous drugs, including via CVC.

Translate legal and organizational knowledge into practical strategies for the initiation and management of freelance nursing practice.

  1. Making Judgements
    Through interactive methods such as simulations and guided discussions, the student develops the ability to:

Critically assess the safety and appropriateness of intravenous therapy, recognizing early signs of complications or clinical risk, particularly in the management of CVCs.

Reflect ethically and professionally on decisions related to freelance practice, considering responsibilities, autonomy, and impact on care quality.

  1. Communication Skills
    By engaging in interactive learning activities and contextualized simulations, the student is able to:

Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding the administration and monitoring of intravenous therapies, using appropriate clinical language and documentation tools.

Clearly articulate and discuss the organizational and ethical principles of freelance nursing practice in structured peer discussions and role-play scenarios.

  1. Learning Skills
    Through structured case-based discussions and reflective practice, the student:

Develops the ability to learn autonomously from complex clinical scenarios, integrating theoretical and experiential knowledge.

Deepens their understanding of professional responsibilities and proactively engages in continuous professional development, particularly regarding legal and operational aspects of freelance nursing.

Contents

The course aims to deepen students some skills related to the second year of training and some cognitive elements related to current issues related to the nursing profession.

During the course the following topics will be discussed:
• Management and monitoring of intravenous drug therapy, by CVC;
• The nursing profession

Teaching form

The teaching method develops reaching 1 CFU for a total of 12 hours, divided as follows:
• 5 lessons of 2 hours in front of the course in the presence of the student;
• 1 lesson of 2 hours of laboratory activities and exercises, carried out in interactive mode in presence;
