Obiettivi

Il corso elettivo: “oltre la malattia ematologica: il paziente e le sue fragilità” si propone di fornire agli studenti infermieri le conoscenze cliniche, terapeutiche e relazionali avanzate per un'assistenza olistica al paziente affetto da malattie onco-ematologiche, comprendendo e gestendo le sue molteplici fragilità, dalla diagnosi al trapianto, per migliorarne l'erogazione delle cure e la qualità di vita.
Gli obiettivi specifici, formulati in accordo con i Descrittori di Dublino, sono i seguenti:

  1. Conoscenza e Comprensione
    Conoscere la clinica, le procedure terapeutiche (come chemioterapia e trapianto di cellule staminali) e le molteplici fragilità che caratterizzano il paziente onco-ematologico.
  2. Capacità di Applicare Conoscenza e Comprensione
    Pianificare e implementare interventi assistenziali specifici e basati sull'evidenza per la gestione del paziente onco-ematologico, applicando efficaci approcci relazionali e comunicativi.
  3. Autonomia di Giudizio
    Sviluppare un pensiero critico per valutare le complesse condizioni del paziente onco-ematologico e collaborare attivamente nel team multidisciplinare per una presa in carico personalizzata.
  4. Abilità Comunicati
    Comunicare in modo empatico, chiaro e professionale con pazienti, familiari e il team sanitario, documentando accuratamente l'assistenza erogata.
  5. Capacità di Apprendimento
    Dimostrare autonomia nell'aggiornamento continuo e nella riflessione critica sulla propria pratica per migliorare costantemente l'assistenza al paziente onco-ematologico.

Programma esteso

Importanza delle procedure diagnostiche e terapeutiche ai fini della diagnosi (Aspirato midollare; biopsia Ossea; Rachicentesi medicata; aferesi terapeutica)
Il trapianto di midollo (allogenico e Autologo);
La comunicazione e la relazione con l’esterno e i familiari del paziente; Il supporto psicologico a pazienti, familiari e caregiver.
L’evento fine vita come esito o complicanza della malattia;
La presa in carico del paziente dopo la dimissione

Iscrizione al 2^ e 3^ anno di corso di Laurea In Infermieristica

Aims

The elective course, “Beyond Hematologic Disease: the Patient and His Frailties,” aims to provide nursing students with advanced clinical, therapeutic and relational knowledge for holistic care of the patient with oncohematologic diseases, understanding and managing his or her multiple frailties, from diagnosis to transplantation, to improve care delivery and quality of life.

The specific objectives, formulated in accordance with the Dublin Descriptors, are as follows:

  1. Knowledge and Understanding
    Know the clinic, therapeutic procedures (such as chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation), and the multiple frailties that characterize the onco-hematologic patient.

  2. Ability to Apply Knowledge and Understanding
    Plan and implement specific, evidence-based care interventions for the management of the oncology-hematology patient, applying effective interpersonal and communication approaches.

  3. Autonomy of Judgment
    Develop critical thinking to assess the complex conditions of the oncohematology patient and actively collaborate in the multidisciplinary team for personalized care.

  4. Skills Communicated
    Communicate empathetically, clearly and professionally with patients, family members and the healthcare team, accurately documenting the care provided.

  5. Ability to Learn
    Demonstrate autonomy in continuous updating and critical reflection on one's practice to continuously improve the care of the onco-hematology patient

Clinical approach to the haematological patient based on an analysis of the organizational context.
Approach to the particular fragility of the haematological patient.
Study of the main haematological pathologies

Detailed program

Importance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for diagnosis (Bone Marrow Aspiration; Bone Biopsy; Medicated Rachicentesis; Therapeutic apheresis)
Bone marrow transplantation (allogeneic and autologous);
Communication and relationship with the outside and family members of the patient; Psychological support to patients, family members and caregivers.
The end-of-life event as outcome or complication of the disease;
Taking charge of the patient after discharge

Prerequisites

Enrolment in the 2nd and 3rd year of the Degree Program in Nursing

The lesson is held in a paying mode in presence through frontal lesson, video projection, discussion and group work
