The course explores various implicit physiological measures (e.g., pupillometry, heart rate, skin conductance) applied to the study of cognitive, emotional, and social processes throughout the lifespan. The course is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, different applications, potentials and limitations of the measures will be presented, while in the practical part, students will have the opportunity to try out different techniques for recording physiological activities within specific experimental paradigms, using a hands-on approach.
