Obiettivi formativi

Questo corso introduce i principi del marketing con particolare attenzione alla sostenibilità.

  • Le studentesse e gli studenti esploreranno i concetti chiave del marketing (come il comportamento del consumatore, la definizione dei prezzi, la segmentazione del mercato, il branding e le strategie di marketing digitale) nel contesto della responsabilità ambientale e sociale. Attraverso casi di studio, applicazioni pratiche e discussioni, avranno una panoramica generale sul marketing, comprendendone al contempo il ruolo nella promozione di prodotti e pratiche sostenibili.
  • Le studentesse e gli studenti saranno in grado di applicare i concetti di marketing a scenari reali, progettando strategie di marketing di base per prodotti e servizi che integrino criteri di sostenibilità e rispondano alle aspettative degli stakeholder.
  • Le studentesse e gli studenti valuteranno criticamente le pratiche di marketing e i casi aziendali, analizzando le implicazioni etiche, ambientali e sociali delle decisioni di marketing.
  • Le studentesse e gli studenti saranno in grado di presentare e discutere concetti di marketing e strategie orientate alla sostenibilità in modo chiaro ed efficace, sia in forma scritta che orale, partecipando in modo costruttivo a discussioni basate su casi di studio e ad attività di gruppo in classe.
  • Le studentesse e gli studenti svilupperanno la capacità di esplorare autonomamente i concetti di base del marketing e la sua relazione con la sostenibilità, ponendo le basi per ulteriori studi o per la pratica professionale in contesti in cui il marketing responsabile è sempre più richiesto.

In particolare, il corso sarà organizzato in:

  • 16 lezioni in presenza della durata di 2 ore;
  • 8 attività online (e-tivity), a distanza e asincrone.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento

Esame finale scritto, della durata di 1 ora, con 5 domande a risposta multipla e 2 domande a risposta aperta.
Verranno assegnati punti extra per la partecipazione attiva in classe, come segue:

  • 2 punti per una partecipazione attiva, continua e pertinente;
  • 1 punto per una partecipazione meno frequente e/o meno pertinente;
  • 0 punti per una partecipazione bassa o assente.

Learning objectives

This course introduces the principles of marketing with a focus on sustainability.

  • Students will explore key marketing concepts (such as consumer behavior, pricing, market segmentation, branding, and digital marketing strategies) in the context of environmental and social responsibility. Through case studies, real-world applications, and discussions, students will have an overview of marketing while understanding its role in promoting sustainable products and practices.
  • Students will be able to apply marketing concepts to real-world scenarios, designing basic marketing strategies for products and services that integrate sustainability criteria and respond to stakeholder expectations.
  • Students will critically evaluate marketing practices and business cases, assessing the ethical, environmental, and social implications of marketing decisions.
  • Students will be able to present and discuss marketing concepts and sustainability-oriented strategies clearly and effectively, both in written and oral form, engaging constructively in case-based discussions and in-class group activities.
  • Students will develop the capacity to autonomously explore basic concepts in marketing and its relation with sustainability, building a foundation for further study or professional practice in contexts where responsible marketing is increasingly required.

Assessment methods

Final written exam, 1 hour, with 5 multiple-choice questions, and 2 open-end questions.
Extra points are assigned for participation and class engagement, as follows:

  • 2 for active, continous and relevant participation;
  • 1 for less frequent or less relevant partipication;
  • 0 for low or no participation.
