Obiettivi
La finalità generale del corso è quella di conoscere le principali norme sull’organizzazione sanitaria e la normativa sull’esercizio professionale e sulla formazione infermieristica, identificando il significato e le loro influenze sullo sviluppo professionale. Lo/la studente/studentessa sarà in grado di usare le conoscenze legate allo sviluppo normativo della professione come chiave di lettura per la pratica professionale.

Cenni sulle fonti del diritto. Le principali norme del Sistema Sanitario Nazionale. Le principali norme sull’esercizio professionale e la formazione infermieristica. Le responsabilità dell’infermiere nella pratica professionale.

Aims
The course aims to provide students with knowledge of the main regulations governing healthcare organization, professional practice, and nursing education, identifying their significance and influence on professional development. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to use knowledge of the regulatory evolution of the nursing profession as a framework for understanding and guiding professional practice.
Contents
Introduction to the evolution of healthcare and nursing regulations and their impact on the development of the nursing profession.
Detailed program
The course provides an overview of the sources of law and the main legal and regulatory frameworks governing the National Health Service. Students will examine the main regulations concerning nursing professional practice and nursing education, as well as the responsibilities of nurses within professional practice. Particular attention will be given to the relationship between regulatory developments and the evolution of the nursing profession, highlighting how legislation has contributed to defining nurses' roles, competencies, responsibilities, and professional autonomy.
