  • Internships and Final Exam

    The final exam to obtain the academic degree consists of the presentation of a thesis developed in an original manner by the student under the guidance of a supervisor in the field of Optometry and Vision Science.

    The thesis, written and discussed in English, will focus on a topic related to the experimental, theoretical, and/or computational activities carried out during the internship.

    The final examination aims to assess the ability to analyze and understand the topic under discussion, present its main aspects, and publicly discuss it with clarity, knowledge, and critical sense.

    PLEASE NOTE: Before submitting your application for the degree achievement, you must complete the thesis assignment procedure on Segreterie Online, as set out in the Guide. Specifically, you must:

    • agree with your supervisor to take on your thesis via your personal page;
    • enter all the required details in the “Conseguimento titolo” section of Segreterie Online;
    • ensure that your supervisor has definitively APPROVED the thesis assignment and its title.

  • NOTICE: Master’s Degree Graduation Session, a.y. 2025/2026 – II Session, I Sitting – September 18, 2026

    The Master’s degree graduation session is scheduled for:

    • September 18 at 5 pm in the Auditorium of Building U12 – Via Vizzola, 12 – 20126 Milan.

    The graduation ceremony will take place in person.

     

    Each student must save his/her 20-minute PowerPoint presentation onto a USB stick and hand it in to the Graduation Committee on the day of the graduation ceremony.
