Students of the Bachelor Degree in Physical Sciences for Innovative Technologies are required to complete a mandatory internship in their 3rd year. Completion of the internship is worth 6 CFU.
The internship represents a great opportunity for professional development, it is a practical experience that allows students to acquire fundamental technical and communicational skills through experimental and/or computational activities.
The internship can be carried out internally at the University of Milano Bicocca or at the University of Pavia, or externally at other universities, companies or research centres and institutions, in all cases, students are guided by tutors and are given the opportunity to work on innovative projects. The aim is to provide a direct connection to the professional environment, and real-life experience of the workplace.
The internship is closely connected to the final examination, as students are supposed during this experience to develop the necessary skills to tackle the drafting of their thesis.
