RSE - Ricerca Sistema Energetico, Piacenza

Completion requirements

The internships offered by RSE – Ricerca sul Sistema Energetico (https://www.rse-web.it/en/) focus on the following topics:

  • Development of inorganic membranes for gas separation, specifically Oxygen Transport Membranes (OTMs) and Hydrogen Transport Membranes (HTMs). The activity involves the synthesis of ceramic membrane materials, membrane fabrication, and their chemical-physical and functional characterization.
  • Development of thin films with anti-soiling properties for agrivoltaic applications. The activity includes the synthesis of coating materials, their deposition on glass substrates, and their chemical-physical and functional characterization.
  • Development of materials for the selective recovery of critical and strategic raw materials from urban waste and geothermal fluids. The activity involves the synthesis and chemical-physical/functional characterization of inorganic and metal-organic materials, as well as the optimization of process parameters for the selective extraction of critical and strategic raw materials.
For further information, feel free to contact Dr. Marcella Balordi (Marcella.Balordi@rse-web.it) or prof. Carlo Antonini (carlo.antonini@unimib.it).
