The submission procedure is available until  03/01/2024, not later than 12.00 (Rome time) — firm deadline for the University administration. The applicants will then be interviewed online on 11/01/2024 at 10:00 (Rome Time). The position is expected to start on February 1st 2024.

Topic: Measuring indicators of wellbeing, stress, efficiency and productivity in remote-working environments.

Salary: 32.428 EUR per year, gross salary.

Description: The researcher will participate in the development of a freely accessible, adaptable, and expandable software platform for remote working, aimed to collect multiple and multimodal data sources to measure validated indicators of wellbeing, stress, efficiency and productivity in natural remote-working environments while the worker's privacy is fully protected throughout the data collection process. The work is part of a project on creating and combining indicators for real-time monitoring of remote workers' activities.

Context: The activity will be part of the project PRIN 2022 “Big Sistah: Quantifying the wellbeing of multilingual remote workers in real-time”. The project is designed as a multidisciplinar effort, in cooperation with psychologists at Dipartimento di Interpretazione e Traduzione at University of Bologna.

Admission title: Master’s Degree in Computer science, Computer engineering, Theory of communication, Data science, or a legally equivalent qualification.
