Dear students,
I am forwarding the message from the Rector’s Delegate for Sustainability and the Mobility Manager, in case you may have missed it:
Please be advised that on Friday, February 6, on the occasion of the Olympic torch relay passing through the city, temporary changes to road traffic and mobility services are expected. These may also affect travel to and from university campuses.
The Olympic Flame relay will start at 8:30 a.m. from Viale Piero e Alberto Pirelli and will continue along Via Padre Gerardo Beccaro, Via San Glicerio, and Viale Fulvio Testi, reaching the MM5 Zara metro station.
Between 7:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., traffic slowdowns, restrictions, or temporary closures may therefore occur near the university campuses located in the Bicocca district.
The entire university community is therefore encouraged to plan their travel in advance, to use local public transport whenever possible, and to check for any updates regarding mobility services.
Best regards,
Marco Viviani
