Contenuti sintetici
Dopo una parte introduttiva, in cui verranno presentati il concetto di intelligenza, le sue diverse forme, vari modelli teorici e la storia dei test, si passerà alla parte pratica. Verranno spiegate le modalità di somministrazione dei test WISC-IV e Leiter-R e le accortezze da utilizzare. I singoli subtest verranno presentati in maniera accurata, anche servendosi del materiale che li costituisce e di videoregistrazioni di bambini. Gli studenti saranno anche coinvolti in esercizi di role-playing per imparare meglio a maneggiare il materiale e a somministrarlo.

Metodi didattici
Nel periodo di emergenza sanitaria Covid-19, le lezioni del 1 semestre si svolgeranno in modalità mista: per il 75% lezioni videoregistrate asincrone, per il 25% in presenza.
Presentazione di contenuti relativi al tema trattato, visione di filmati sulla somministrazione dei test, esercitazioni su come attribuire i punteggi e compilare un protocollo, role-playing per la somministrazione delle scale dei test.
Durante il periodo di emergenza COVID-19 le modalità didattiche verranno definite e aggiornate sulla base delle regole di Ateneo.
Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
È richiesta la frequenza obbligatoria ad almeno il 75% delle lezioni (12 ore su 16). Gli studenti dovranno somministrare 4 subtest della scala WISC-IV a due soggetti e produrre un breve elaborato scritto, indicando le caratteristiche della somministrazione, i punteggi ottenuti dai soggetti esaminati e una valutazione globale dell’esperienza.
Testi di riferimento
La bibliografia e/o le slide delle lezioni e utili alla somministrazione verranno fornite dal docente all’inizio del corso e pubblicate online sulla pagina web del sito e-learning.

Contents
An introduction will deal on the concept of intelligence, its various forms, theoretical models and history of tests. A practical part will follow, that aims at explaining how to carefully administer WISC-IV and Leiter-R. Subtests will be presented in details, employing their own material and videos about children. Students will be involved in role-playing exercise to better learn how to handle and administer the two tests.

Teaching methods
In the Covid-19 emergency periodo lessons will be held in a mixed mode (1 semester): 75% asynchronous videotaped lessons, 25% in attendance.
Lessons will be held through lectures, presentation of videos on tests administration, exercises on scoring and filling a protocol, role-playing to learn how to administer the two tests.
In the Covid-19 emergency periodo the teaching methods will be defined and updated on the basis of the University’s rules.
Assessment methods
Frequency is compulsory for 75% of the lessons (12 hours out of 16). Students are requested to administer 4 subtests of the WISC-IV to two subjects and write a brief paper indicating the administration characteristics, the scores obtained by the subjects and a general evaluation of the experience.
Textbooks and Reading Materials
The bibliography and/or the slides about the lessons and useful for the test administration will be provided at the beginning of the course and published on line in the e-learning website.
