Obiettivi formativi
Il laboratorio origina dalla considerazione che all’interno dei Servizi Sociali gli operatori si interfacciano con differenti tipologie familiari, destinatarie – direttamente o indirettamente – degli interventi professionali. Nella società attuale, d’altro canto, le famiglie devono fronteggiare difficoltà nuove e di difficile decifrazione: problemi economici, occupazionali, problemi educativi e problemi assistenziali a causa delle trasformazioni sociali (in campo economico, tecnologico, demografico, ecc.).
La famiglia, d’altro canto, costituisce non solo un terreno di indagine sociologica ma anche un ambito valoriale e ed esperenziale, in cui il professionista deve muoversi riuscendo a riconoscere e distinguere conoscenze, soggettività e strumentazione professionale.
Il tema della famiglia diventa così lo sfondo sul quale proiettare i saperi accumulati, siano essi teorici che teorico-pratici, e dal quale muovere per aprire percorsi di approfondimento tematici sul tema del rapporto tra Servizi Sociali e famiglie.
Il contesto laboratoriale permetterà agli studenti di mettere in comune le differenti esperienze formative per allargare il proprio sguardo e sviluppare la propria capacità analitica, anche attraverso il confronto reciproco.
L’obiettivo, quindi è quello di offrire allo studente sia un momento di sintesi del percorso formativo intrapreso, sia un’occasione preziosa per individuare modalità analitiche di approccio alle più ricorrenti problematiche professionali legate al tema famiglia.
Contenuti sintetici
Nel corso del Laboratorio verranno forniti agli studenti gli strumenti indispensabili per porsi con un approccio critico rispetto alla relazione tra servizi sociali e sistemi familiari.
Attraverso il ricorso alla letteratura più recente e l'approfondimento delle esperienze degli studenti, questi prenderanno in esame diversi percorsi di approfondimento sul tema del rapporto tra famiglia e Servizi Sociali, divenendo così in grado di affrontarli secondo le chiavi di lettura che volta per volta verranno individuate.
Programma esteso
A partire da uno scenario che vede la continua ridefinizione del sistema di welfare, si vuole lavorare sull’aumento esponenziale del numero e della complessità dei bisogni espressi dalle famiglie e sul relativo impatto sui Servizi Sociali. Il laboratorio intende costituire uno spazio in cui prendere in esame alcuni di questi bisogni, a partire dalla trasformazioni che hanno attraversato e attraversano i sistemi familiari.
In particolare verranno presi in esame questi ambiti di interesse
Famiglia o FamiglieIl problema della definizione e la sua ricaduta sull’accesso a specifiche politiche sociali
I mutamenti relativi alla forma delle famiglie e le conseguenze nei sistemi di “care-giving”
o I servizi di supporto alla famiglia e alla povertà
o I servizi per gli anziani
“Società liquida e amore liquido”. Problemi culturali e problemi etici
o Gli effetti sulla conflittualità di coppia e sulla genitorialità.
o L’incontro con i servizi sociali che si occupano di queste nuove tipologie di disagio
Fragilità familiari e sistemi educativi
o Abbandoni scolastici e comportamenti devianti dei minori. Il rapporto dei Servizi sociali con l’istituzione scolastica
o Le nuove dipendenze e l’impatto sull’incontro famiglia-servizi
Fragilità familiari e sistemi socio-sanitari
o Disabilità fisiche e psichiche nell’ottica dei carichi familiari. Quale il contributo dei servizi.
o Il sistema ospedaliero e il ruolo del Servizio sociale
Prerequisiti
Per il laboratorio l’unico prerequisito è di essere disponibili a lavorare sulle conoscenze acquisite in vista di un processo analitico di comprensione e di rielaborazione personale.
Metodi didattici
Lezioni, esercitazioni e discussioni. Verranno anche presi in esame alcuni contenuti multimediali che sono rilevanti ai fini della rielaborazione delle conoscenze acquisite.
Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
Non sono previsti esami - e quindi voti - al termine del laboratorio, ma ad ogni incontro gli studenti avranno la possibilità di verificare il loro percorso di apprendimento

The workshop originates from the consideration that within the Social Services the operators interface with different family typologies, which are directly or indirectly addressed by the professional interventions. In today's society, on the other hand, families have to face new and difficult difficulties: economic, employment, educational and welfare problems due to social changes (in the economic, technological, demographic field, etc.).
The theme of the family, however, constitutes not only a field of sociological investigation but also an area of values and experience, in which the professional must move, managing to recognize and distinguish knowledge, subjectivity and professional instrumentation.
The family thus becomes the background against which to project accumulated knowledge, both theoretical and theoretical-practical, and from which to start in order to open thematic in-depth study paths on the theme of the relationship between Social Services and families.
The workshop context will allow students to share their different training experiences in order to widen their view and develop their analytical skills, also through mutual comparison.
The aim, therefore, is to offer students both a moment of synthesis of the training pathway undertaken and a valuable opportunity to identify analytical methods of approach to the most recurrent professional issues related to the family.
Contents
During the workshop, students will be provided with the necessary tools to take a critical approach to the relationship between Social Services and family systems.
Through recourse to the most recent literature and in-depth study of the students' experiences, they will examine various paths of study on the theme of the relationship between the family and Social Services, thus becoming capable of tackling them according to the interpretations that will be identified each time.
Detailed program
Starting from a scenario that sees the continuous redefinition of the welfare system, we want to work on the exponential increase in the number and complexity of needs expressed by families and on the related impact on Social Services. The workshop intends to constitute a space in which to examine some of these needs, starting from the transformations that have gone through and are still going through family systems.

Family or Families
The problem of definition and its effect on access to specific social policies
Changes in the shape of families and the consequences for care-giving systems
o Family and poverty support services
o Services for the elderly
"Liquid society and liquid love. Cultural and ethical issues
o The effects on couple conflict and parenting.
o The encounter with social services dealing with these new types of discomfort
Family fragility and educational systems
o School drop-outs and deviant behavior of minors. The relationship between the social services and the educational institution.
o The new addictions and the impact on the family-services encounter
Family fragility and social-health systems
o Physical and psychic disabilities from the point of view of family burdens. What is the contribution of the services?
o The hospital system and the role of the Social Service
Prerequisites
For the workshop the only prerequisite is to be willing to work on the acquired knowledge in view of an analytical process of personal understanding and re-elaboration.
Teaching methods
Lectures, exercises and discussions. Some multimedia content that is relevant to the reworking of the knowledge acquired will also be examined.
Assessment methods
There are no exams - and therefore no grades - at the end of the workshop, but at each meeting students will have the opportunity to check their learning.
