Obiettivi formativi
Il corso fornisce gli strumenti per utilizzare proficuamente le rappresentazioni cartografiche turistiche e a maturare un approccio critico alla lettura della carta. L’analisi avverrà tramite la lettura e l’interpretazione di carte turistiche.
Contenuti sintetici
Verranno affrontati i maggiori problemi relativi alla rappresentazione delle realtà territoriali in termini cartografici, in connessione soprattutto con la valorizzazione turistica del territorio.

Prerequisiti
Padronanza delle conoscenze teoriche e metodologiche della geografia e buone capacità di apprendimento, di scrittura e di comunicazione orale.
Metodi didattici
Lezioni frontali ed esercitazioni.
Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
Colloquio orale che partirà dalla presentazione di una carta turistica scelta dallo/a studente/ssa. Seguirà un’interrogazione sul programma d’esame.
La valutazione – basata su pertinenza, completezza, originalità e correttezza linguistica – sarà finalizzata a determinare l’approfondimento e la maturità con i quali è avvenuto l’apprendimento degli obiettivi formativi specifici.

Learning objectives
The course has the objective to provide instruments for understanding cartographic representations for tourism and to give a critical approach to maps reading. The analysis will be led by the examination of some tourism maps.
Contents
The major problems relating to the representation of the territorial realities in cartographic terms will be faced, mainly in connection with the touristic valorisation of the territory.

Prerequisites
Good theoretical and methodological competences in geography and good ability of learning, writing and oral communication.

Lectures and exercises.
Assessment methods
Oral exam. As the first step, the student presents a tourist map chosen by him/her. After that, the teacher will ask some questions about the programme.
The evaluation - based on pertinence, completeness, originality, and linguistic correctness - will be focused to define the level of in-depth and maturity with which the student has reached the learning objectives.
