Obiettivi formativi
L’obiettivo principale del laboratorio è quello di lavorare sugli stereotipi legati alle famiglie.
Sulla base del percorso formativo di tipo teorico già intrapreso dagli studenti e dalle studentesse si cercherà di mettere a fuoco le modalità analitiche di approccio alle più ricorrenti problematiche professionali legate al tema famiglia.
Il contesto laboratoriale permetterà agli studenti di mettere in comune le differenti esperienze formative per allargare il proprio sguardo e sviluppare la propria capacità analitica, anche attraverso il confronto reciproco.
Il laboratorio origina dalla considerazione che ciascun operatore dei Servizi Sociali, nell’esercizio delle sue funzioni, deve avere consapevolezza degli stereotipi che guidano il proprio agire. Le nuove formazioni famigliari sono oggi sottoposte a pressioni di vecchio tipo e nuovo tipo legate alle dimensioni economiche, alle condizioni lavorative, alle esperienze educative, ai modelli di cura e assistenza dei componenti che le compongono.
Contenuti sintetici
Nel corso del Laboratorio verranno forniti agli studenti gli strumenti per porsi con un approccio critico rispetto alla relazione tra servizi sociali e sistemi familiari.
Attraverso il ricorso alla letteratura più recente, ai casi di studio e all'approfondimento delle esperienze degli studenti e delle studentesse, questi prenderanno in esame diversi percorsi di approfondimento sul tema del rapporto tra famiglia e Servizi Sociali, divenendo così in grado di affrontarli secondo le chiavi di lettura che volta per volta verranno individuate.
Programma esteso
Il laboratorio intende costituire uno spazio in cui prendere in esame alcuni ambiti in cui l’azione degli stereotipi può incidere negativamente sull’azione professionale degli assistenti sociali.
In particolare, verranno presi in esame i seguenti ambiti di interesse
- Famiglia o Famiglie. Le tipologie di famiglie e le modalità di formazione delle famiglie
- Famiglie e anziani. L’evoluzione delle problematiche legate alla terza e quarta età
- Famiglie e care givers. La percezione del “care-giving”, il ruolo delle donne sandwich
- Famiglie e povertà. Aspetti culturali e dimensioni composite del fenomeno
- La conflittualità nelle famiglie. Problemi culturali e problemi etici. Gli effetti sulla conflittualità di coppia e sulla genitorialità.
- Familiari e sistemi educativi. Abbandoni scolastici e comportamenti devianti, nuove dipendenze dei minori.
Prerequisiti
Prerequisito è essere disponibili a mettersi in gioco in prima persona collaborando attivamente alle iniziative proposte dalla docente.
Metodi didattici
Esercitazioni, discussioni, lezioni. Verranno anche presi in esame alcuni casi di studio che sono rilevanti ai fini della rielaborazione delle conoscenze acquisite.
Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
Verranno proposte esercitazioni in itinere per verificare l'apprendimento dei contenuti del laboratorio.
Testi di riferimento
Materiali didattici verranno messi a disposizione degli studenti e delle studentesse nel corso delle lezioni.

Learning objectives
The main objective of the workshop is to work on stereotypes related to families.
On the basis of the theoretical training course already undertaken by students, we will try to focus on the analytical methods of approaching the most recurring problems related to the family theme.
The laboratory context will allow students to share the differences in training experiences to broaden their gaze and develop their analytical skills, also through mutual comparison.
The laboratory originates from the consideration that each Social Services operator, in the exercise of his functions, must be aware of the stereotypes that guide his actions. The new family formations are today subjected to pressures of old and new types linked to economic dimensions, working conditions, educational experiences, and the models of care and assistance of the components that compose them.
Contents
During the workshop, students will be provided with the tools to take a critical approach to the relationship between Social Services and family systems.
Through recourse to the most recent literature, case studies and in-depth study of the students' experiences, they will examine various paths of study on the theme of the relationship between the family and Social Services, thus becoming capable of tackling them according to the interpretations that will be identified each time.
Detailed program
The laboratory intends to constitute a space in which to examine some features in which the action of stereotypes can negatively affect the professional action of social workers.
In particular, the following ambitions of interest will be printed under consideration
- Family and families. The types of families and the ways in which families are formed
- Families and old people. The evolution of problems related to the third and fourth age
- Families and care givers. Changes in the shape of families and the consequences in "caregiving" systems.
- Conflict in families. The effects on couple conflict and parenting.
- Families and poverty. Cultural aspects and composite dimensions of the phenomenon.
- Families and educational systems. School dropouts and deviant behavior, new addictions of minors.
Prerequisites
Prerequisite is to be available to get involved personally by actively collaborating in the initiatives proposed by the teacher.
Teaching methods
Lectures, exercises and discussions. Some multimedia content that is relevant to the reworking of the knowledge acquired will also be examined.
Assessment methods
Will be proposed exercises in progress to verify the learning of the contents of the laboratory.

Teaching materials will be made available to students during the lessons.
