Obiettivi formativi

Conoscenza e comprensione

Acquisizione degli strumenti fondamentali per l’analisi dei fenomeni sociali attraverso lo studio del pensiero sociologico classico e contemporaneo.

Contenuti sintetici

Modernità, patologie sociali, globalizzazione, diseguaglianze, individualizzazione, rischio.

Programma esteso

Il modulo sarà articolato in tre parti:

1) il pensiero sociologico classico

2) le patologie sociali del mondo contemporaneo

  1. i concetti e le categorie sociologiche come strumenti di analisi della realtà contemporanea.

Prerequisiti

Sufficienti abilità logiche, rudimenti di cultura sociale, ragionevoli capacità di apprendimento, di scrittura e di comunicazione orale.

Metodi didattici

Lezioni frontali.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento

Prova orale. Colloquio sugli argomenti svolti a lezione. Prove scritte intermedie.

Knowledge and understanding

Acquisition of the basic instruments to analyze social phenomena through the study of classical and contemporary sociological thought.

Contents

Modernity, Social Pathologies, Globalization, Inequalities, Individualisation, Risk.

Detailed program

The course consists of three parts:

1) Classical sociological thought

  1. Social pathologies of contemporary world3) Sociological concepts as tools for examining contemporary society.

Prerequisites

Basic educational skills in logic, social culture and reasonable ability in learning, writing and communication.

Teaching methods

Lectures.

Assessment methods

Oral Exam. Discussion on the topics treated in the lesson. intermediate written tests.
