Questo è un corso di introduzione alla moderna macroeconomia. L'obiettivo è quello di familiarizzare lo studente con i temi della macroeconomia contemporanea, sia teorici che empirici.

Il corso tratterà i tre temi principali della macroeconomia moderna:

  1. Il ciclo economico
  2. Le crisi finanziarie
  3. La crescita economica

Il programma toccherà le seguenti tematiche:

  1. Introduzione ai temi della macroeconomia moderna
  2. Occupazione e disoccupazione
  3. Moneta e inflazione
  4. Assicurazione e prestiti bancari
  5. Debito privato e pubblico
  6. Risparmio, investimento e crescita

Il corso richiede delle conoscenze di base di analisi matematica e di microeconomia

This is an introductory course in modern macroeconomics. The goal is to introduce the student to the main topics of contemporary macroeconomics, both from a theoretical and empirical perspective.

The course will cover the three main topics of contemporary macroeconomics:

  1. Business cycles
  2. Financial crises
  3. Economic growth

The program will unfold as follows:

  1. Introduction to modern macroeconomics
  2. Employment and unemployment
  3. Money and inflation
  4. Insurance and banking
  5. Private and public debt
  6. Savings, Investment and growth

The prerequisites for the course are basic calculus and introductory microeconomics
