Il corso ha l'obiettivo primario di fornire una conoscenza dei cambiamenti climatici in atto e del loro impatto sui rischi naturali

Contenuti sintetici

Il corso prevede un'introduzione sui cambiamenti climatici, in particolare sui trend passati e sulle proiezioni future delle variabili meteo-climatiche più rilevanti per i rischi naturali. Inoltre, analizza i drivers climatici e i meccanismi dei principali rischi naturali (alluvioni, frane, tempeste, valanghe), al fine di studiarne l'evoluzione.

Aims

The primary objective of the course is to provide knowledge of ongoing climate change and its impact on natural hazards

Contents

The course includes an introduction to climate change, in particular past trends and future projections of the most relevant weather-climate variables for natural hazards. Furthermore, it analyses climate drivers and the mechanisms of the main natural hazards (floods, landslides, storms, avalanches) in order to study their evolution.
