Obiettivi formativi

Il corso affronta alcuni tra i temi piu’ importanti per le aziende di ogni tipo nell’attuale contesto socio-economico, in particolare: la sostenibilita’ come discorso economico e politico; la sostenibilita’ implementata attraverso pratiche manageriali e organizzative; l’innovazione sociale e sostenibile come azione per creare nuovo valore condiviso, pubblico, e sociale. Il corso analizza tali temi usando un approccio sia pratico sia di critical thinking e prevede la possibilita’ di svolgere un project work.

Prerequisiti

Padronanza dei concetti base di economia aziendale; interesse per il contesto economico, sociale e politico in cui agiscono le aziende e le organizzazioni; motivazione ad apprendere in modo partecipato.

Metodi didattici

Lezioni del docente con attiva partecipazione degli studenti, testimonianze, lavori individuali e in gruppo preparati e discussi durante il corso. Altre opportunita' esperenziali per gli studenti, individualmente o in gruppo, veranno proposte dal docente (ad esempio visione di film, partecipazione a eventi, visita di organizzazioni).

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento

Frequentanti: esame scritto, project work e memo di ricerca.

Learning objectives

The course addresses some of the most important and topical issues for organizations of all kinds, namely: sustainability as an economic and political discourse; sustainability implemented through managerial and organizational practices; social and sustainable innovation as practices to create new shared, public and social value. The course analyzes these issues using both a practical and critical thinking approach and provides the opportunity to carry out a project work.

Prerequisites

Mastery of the basic concepts of business economics; interest in the economic, social and political context in which companies and organizations operate; motivation to learn in a participatory way.

Teaching methods

Lectures by the teacher with active participation of students, keynote guest lectures, individual and group work prepared and discussed during the course. Other experiential opportunities for students, individually or in groups, will be proposed by the teacher (for example watching films, participating in events, visiting organizations).

Assessment methods

Attending students: written exam, project work and research memo.

Non-attending students: oral exam and research memo.
