Prerequisiti
Conoscenze basilari di matematica e inglese.
Verificare l'obbligo di superare insegnamenti propedeutici, se richiesti dal percorso accademico.
Diversamente non sarà consentito dai sistemi e dalle regole accademiche sostenere la prova d'esame.
Metodi didattici
Lezioni frontali.
Le lezioni sono erogate in presenza a partire dal secondo semestre 24-25, secondo il calendario definito dall'ateneo.
Il materiale a disposizione per lo studio sarà comunque presente nella piattaforma di e-learning.
La presenza non è comunque obbligatoria.
Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
Le prove d'esame si svolgono in presenza.
Difficilmente si potrà disporre di un laboratorio di informatica, per cui si chiede agli allievi di venire con il proprio computer portatile, o tablet, che si possa collegare al wi-fi di ateneo. Lo smartphone non è adatto. Schermo troppo piccolo e difficoltà di movimento tra le domande.
Con apposita piattaforma, un sito web, Questbase, sarà implementato un questionario a risposta multipla.
Si tratta di prova a tempo.
La piattaforma consente il monitoraggio del traffico.
Gli allievi regolarmente iscritti alla prova d'esame ricevono conferma scritta dal docente con alcune indicazioni legate alla prova e il link per collegarsi alla piattaforma. Non è richiesto alcun tipo di installazione da parte dello studente, che ha comunque il controllo dle dispositivo.
In sede di prova gli studenti riceveranno password di accesso.
E' un sito web e come tale si tratta.
La gestione della prova, il passaggio da una domanda all'altra, lo scorrimento verticale sono a discrezione dello studente. Prova a tempo della durata di 38 minuti sotto forma di questionario a risposta multipla. 30 domande, 1 punto per ogni risposta corretta, 0 in tutti gli altri casi. Le domande e le risposte sono estratte casualmente da un paniere predefinito e l'insegnante non le conosce a priori. La prova è rigorosamente individuale.
Gli esiti sono consequenziali alla consegna della prova.
Si preme il tasto Invia, in fondo alla pagina, per la trasmissione delle risposte e la visione di correzione e risultati.
Qualora il tempo non consentisse l'invio la prova si riterrà comunque valida e valutata dal sistema per quanto fatto fino a quel momento.
Il sito web prevede l'inserimento di nome, cognome e numero di matricola, subito dipo l'immissione della password.
Come sempre è utile tenere a portata di mano un documento di identificazione.
Possono presentarsi piccoli, semplici esercizi: conversione di base, algebra di Boole, algoritmi, crittografia, IP. Come da materiale presente su piattaforma elearning.
E' consentito usare penna, foglio di carta. Non sono previsti calcoli impegnativi.E comunque limitati alle opzioni previste.
Non è necessario alcun tipo di software se non il browser.Tutto sommato è sempre consigliabile disporre sul proprio dispositivo di browser differenti.
Non si prevedono prove di valutazione al di fuori delle date di appello fissate dall'ateneo.

Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of mathematics and English language.
Verify the requirement to pass prerequisite courses, if required by the academic program. Otherwise, it will not be allowed by the systems and academic rules to take the exam
Teaching methods
Traditional lecture.
The lessons are delivered in person starting from the second semester of 24-25, according to the schedule defined by the university.
Study material will be present on the e-learning platform.
However, attendance is not mandatory.
Assessment methods
The exams will be held in person. It is unlikely that a computer lab will be available, so students are asked to bring their own laptop or tablet that can connect to the university's Wi-Fi. Smartphones are not suitable due to the small screen and difficulty in navigating between questions.
A multiple-choice questionnaire will be implemented using a dedicated platform, a website called Questbase. It is a timed test. The platform allows traffic monitoring. Students who are regularly registered for the exam will receive written confirmation from the teacher with some instructions related to the test and the link to access the platform. No installation is required by the student, who still has control of the device.
During the test, students will receive an access password. It is a website, and it should be treated as such. The management of the test, moving from one question to another, and vertical scrolling are at the student's discretion. The timed test lasts 38 minutes in the form of a multiple-choice questionnaire. 30 questions, 1 point for each correct answer, 0 for all other cases. The questions and answers are randomly drawn from a predefined pool, and the teacher does not know them in advance. The test is strictly individual.
The results are consequential to the submission of the test. Press the Submit button at the bottom of the page to transmit the answers and view corrections and results. If time does not allow submission, the test will still be considered valid and evaluated by the system for what has been done up to that point.
The website requires the entry of name, surname, and student number immediately after entering the password. As always, it is useful to have an identification document handy.
There may be small, simple exercises: base conversion, Boolean algebra, algorithms, cryptography, IP. As per the material available on the e-learning platform. It is allowed to use a pen and paper. No demanding calculations are expected, and they are limited to the provided options.
No software is required other than the browser. Overall, it is always advisable to have different browsers available on your device.
No assessment tests are scheduled outside the dates set by the university.
Textbooks and Reading Materials
The teacher uploads study materials and video recordings to the e-learning platform. No reference texts are indicated. The student, if they wish, can use any information source.
