Obiettivi formativi

Capire come migliorare una destinazione turistica dal punto di vista manageriale, attraverso un piano di sviluppo e con particolare attenzione alle possibili innovazioni.

Contenuti sintetici

Dopo la presentazione di alcuni esempi di destinazioni turistiche nazionali ed europee ben organizzate e meno organizzate, gli studenti faranno singolarmente vari esercizi individuali o in gruppo, che verranno infine discussi insieme.

Programma esteso

Durante il lavoro gli interessati - agendo esclusivamente nell'ottica del turista "adprosumer" di oggi - studieranno la gestione effettiva delle attività, organizzazioni e sistemi aziendali della destinazione ed elaboreranno alcune proposte innovative su come migliorare l'attrattività, l'offerta e la vendita di essa.

Prerequisiti

Studenti con buone nozioni di inglese, anche se il corso si svolgerà in lingua italiana.

Metodi didattici

Presentazione di casi in aula.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento

La frequentazione del laboratorio in Aula è definita dall'Ateneo ed è obbligatoria.
Ogni studente farà singolarmente, e in parte anche in gruppo, vari esercizi pratici.
Essi consisteranno in alcune domande a risposte chiuse, altre aperte e un project work di tipo creativo.
Gli obiettivi e le modalità verranno illustrati durante le lezioni.

Learning objectives

Understand how to improve a tourist destination from a managerial point of view, through a development plan and with particular attention to possible innovations.

Contents

After presenting some examples of well-organised and less organised National and European DMOs, the students will individually carry out various exercises discussed later together.

Detailed program

Students will study the effective management of destination activities, organizations and business systems. They will develop some innovative proposals to improve attractiveness, offer and sales. Above all, they will learn how to act in the perspective of the tourist as a modern "adprosumer" today.

Prerequisites

English speaking students, even if the lessons will be held in Italian.

Teaching methods

Presentation of case studies in the classroom.

Assessment methods

Attendance at the classroom laboratory is defined by the University and is compulsory.
Each student will do individually, and partly also in a group, various exercises.
They will consist of some questions with closed answers, others open and a creative project work.
The objectives and methods will be illustrated during the lessons.
