Before starting the thesis work, students must have submitted the thesis project and obtained approval from the Teaching Coordination Council to carry out the thesis, which can be done internally, externally, or in collaboration with external organizations.
By the deadlines set by the Student Office, students must submit an abstract in English (maximum of 5 pages each) in electronic format to the Teaching Office of the degree program. The thesis, in English, must be uploaded in electronic format to the online student portal upon completion of the degree application.
On the graduation day, students present the thesis to the Master's Degree Commission. The duration of the oral presentation, in English, should not exceed 15 minutes, followed by no more than 5 minutes of discussion. The Commission evaluates the discussed thesis as well as the grade proposed by the supervising professor. The additional points awarded by the Commission, according to the criteria established by the Teaching Coordination Council for the assignment of the grade, will range from 1 to 8 points (8 points with a written justification).
The final grade decision is made by the Commission by majority vote. In case of a tie, the vote of the President prevails. The possible "Laude" must be approved unanimously.
The schedule of sessions, deadlines, and operational guidelines are published on the website of the degree program.
