The final exam for obtaining the Master’s degree consists of the discussion and presentation, before the Graduation Committee, of an original dissertation outlining the topic of the work carried out and the results achieved during the thesis preparation period.
The evaluation criteria for the final exam are specified in the Regulations for the Final Examination, approved by the Physics and Astrophysics Didactic Coordination Committee (CCD).
THESIS ASSIGNMENT REQUEST
Once the thesis topic has been agreed upon with the Supervisor, the student must submit the THESIS ASSIGNMENT REQUEST. This request, which must be sent to the teaching office (didattica.fisica@unimib.it) at least 8 months before the expected graduation date, can only be submitted after the student has obtained at least 40 ECTS credits. The request is evaluated by a designated Committee and approved by the Didactic Coordination Council.DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED FOR THE THESIS ASSIGNMENT REQUEST
DEGREE COMPLETION REQUEST
To take the final exam, the student must submit the DEGREE COMPLETION REQUEST through the online student portal.
