  • General information

    The Master degree programme includes student positions within the joint international programme of Dual degree in Sustainable Materials (SUMA Master degree), meeting the requirements of the Quality Label of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) of the European Commission for the high education target of the Knowledge Innovation Community (KIC) supported by EU in the field of Raw Materials. The network of international SUMA Master Tracks is funded by EU within the IMAGINE European project.

    For admission to the Dual Degree Track, candidates have 1) to submit an application to the SUMA web site (for details, including information on the application procedure and requirements, please visit the SUMA Master website), then 2) to follow the instructions and deadlines for admission to UNIMIB as entry University, as indicated in Admission procedure.

    Description of the UNIMIB - KU Leuven Track, with the full list of courses, and the Credit Transfer Table from the Dual Degree Learning Agreement will be reported in the files in the folder below.

    Furthermore, dual degree students will receive a scholarship of 13.500 € and are entitled to the full fee waiver for the 2nd year (when you will be in Leuven), except for the regional tax of enrolment of about 150 euro.

    During the first year, there are specific mandatory steps SuMa students must achieve, each one with a precise deadline:

    - Minimum of 12 CFUs (ECTS) credits to be achieved by March 2024 to be eligible for the EIT schol-arship and the SuMa programme accordingly;
    - Minimum of 36 CFUs (ECTS) credits to be achieved by the end of September 2024 to access the second year;
    - English assessment: TOEFL ≥ 86 or IELTS ≥ 6.5 or Unimib’s Rosetta Stone ≥ C1. To be achieved within the first year.
