Important Detail about Tomorrow's Presentation

Dear students,

Due to the high number of presentations in the first session we have decided to give 10 minutes to each group for the presentation. To be able to present in such a brief time avoid focusing too much on specific steps of preprocessing or explaining how some ML models work (unless it is something new and essential part of your project) and focus more on the conclusions you can draw from your results. After 10 minutes the presentation will be stopped and the next group will start immediately.

See you tomorrow,

Pranav Kasela

Dear students,

Due to many questions regarding the order of presentation, I want to clarify a few things:
  • There is no formal order of presentation.
  • If you have any justified work or accademic issues you can tell us on the presentation day during the attendance and you will be among the first one to present your work.
  • After all the students with these kind of issues have presented the other students will present their work.
  • Everybody has to be there before 9:15 for the attendance, unless you have specified that you have accademic or work issues in an e-mail, in that case you can reach the exam room later on.
  • After the attendance you can stay inside to assist other students' presentation or stay outside (if you want to study or rehearse your presentation). If you decide to stay inside to assist other presentations please maintain silence. The next group to present has to stay inside and connect their computer as soon as the previous one finishes!
  • We will conclude all the presentation on the 1st Feb (i.e. there won't be another day for presentations).
  • For the order of presentation, we will ask simply for another group to present as soon as the previous one has finished, you can decide the order among yourselves.
  • The exam room accepts HDMI or VGA connection, so if you need an adapter bring your own, or ask your other collegues for help.

Hopefully this clarifies some of the doubts many of you had.
If you have any other doubt, please ask it in the general forum so everybody has access to the same information.
